Conferences
Dedicated to service and support.
Vincentian or Vinnies members join local groups called Conferences that meet regularly. Members work in a variety of ways including delivering food, visiting the sick and elderly, preparing food parcels, or using their office and other skills. Each Conference is linked to an Area Council in its region.
Conferences focus on helping the needy by visiting them at home, in hospitals, or wherever they are. They approach every task with friendliness, respect and empathy aiming to address deeper needs and promote self-sufficiency.
Locally there are 13 Conferences under the Christchurch Area.

We would love to hear from you! New members are given formation or training and are supported by experienced Conference members.
